SDHS Music Program

February 10, 2020

Dear Music Families,

Thank you for being part of our growing music program at San Diego High School. With 550 students , the program has nearly doubled since last year.

We need your help to build a strong music program that is sufficiently funded so that every student has the tools and opportunities to succeed as a musician.

Many music students still lack essential supplies—method books, reeds, strings, bass quivers, rosin or sheet music—to properly learn their instrument.

About 80 of our advanced students need your help to fund their trip to the San Francisco Heritage Festival, where they will receive valuable performance experience and feedback to become better, more confident musicians.

Please make a “Musical Tree” donation so that every music class can have basic supplies and materials, and advanced students can go to an amazing music festival in San Francisco. As a token of appreciation, “Musical Tree” donors will be acknowledged on our digital End of Year Concert program.

Your support today makes a huge difference to our music program and students’ learning experience!

Best regards,

San Diego High School Music Boosters.
